Testimonials

Fabulous - authentic Thai comes to the UK. Having lived in the Far East for a number of years, we found it almost impossible to experience authentic Thai food, especially tasty sauces, back here in England. Then we discovered Tuk Tuk Foods. We first tried the Thai Tamarind Sauce - what a find, delicious as a stir fry sauce with Thai noodles and Chicken as well as a dipping sauce. Then we happily moved on to the other wonderfully exotic pastes and sauces - WOW! As a treat, we prepared a Thai feast for some friends, who thought we had studied for years as Thai Chefs - our secret - let it be yours!

Tuk Tuk's sauces and curry pastes are like no other. They succeed where so many other prepared sauces fail. Using the highest quality ingredients with intelligence and passion, the products maintain a fresh, unprocessed and authentic homemade flavour. They really do what they promise--they bring the true taste of Thailand to the home cook--an asset to the larder of the expert cook and novice alike.

Lots of Love, Celia Brooks Brown

We attended the Xmas farm day and sampled some of the wonderful food and bought some Thai green curry paste, we cooked a meal this evening with the ingredients and it was fantastic. The best Thai food we have ever tasted. Thanks

The flavour took my taste buds to another world. Some of the most authentic flavour I've tasted. I've never tasted Thai food before and I tell you I now want a lot more. The taste was unique and heavenly, I hope food tastes this good in the devine realm. I'm a Scottish man who demands the finest quality and this food exceeded my expectations.

Dear Mrs Bird...

Thank you very much for showing us all the exotic Thai food. It was really mouth-watering. I hope you visit us again in the future. Thank you for helping everyone learn how to use chopsticks; It will be really useful if I ever go to Thailand, China or Japan. I really like Thai food now and I will visit Thai restaurants more often in the future and I will buy some of your Tuk Tuk sauces.

I am very grateful you gave me the best meal I ever had, the Orange sauce and home-made soy sauce and all the other sauces made the noodles delicious. The apples and other vegetables gave the flavour to make everything unbelievably gorgeous.

Your Thai food was absolutely delicious! The white noodles were very tasty although your yellow noodles were the best. It is amazing that something so scrumptious could be so healthy! I have eaten noodles before but only the ones that are in packages and are not very goo for you. It was interesting to see you cooking and fasinating to smell the lemongrass and see the large and small aubergines

Emily Fox (Y6W)

I really enjoyed the Thai food. It tasted magnificent. I must say I did prefer the egg noodles to the white noodles, but I still found that the white noodles were great though. Even as I was walking home with my friends and all we could talk about was your noodles. When I got home, I told my mum and my siblings. My mum was chuffed when I asked to help with dinner, you really inspired me and I hope I should get a change to taste the thai food again

Thank you very much your food was exquisite. The noodles and egg rice tasted so good it was a party in my mouth. Also thanks for the free chopsticks. I don't know how you can make something so healthy taste so good so I went to a Thai food restaurant, but sadly the food was not as good as yours.

Thank you for coming in and being very kind in letting us taste your exquisite food. I think your great sauces are amazing way to keep healthy. I never knew you can cook in orange sauce. I think everyone enjoyed your food. While the food was cooking, all of year 6 staff and pupils mouth were watering with the gorgeous scent of Thai noodles. The white noodles were great. Made even better with extra chilli sauce. The ginger had a lovely smell and so did the lemongrass. I think you again and can't wait to eat some more Tuk Tuk Sauce

Thank you for visiting us on Tuesday 17th May. I think everyone appreciated your company, and I think it was pretty obvious that everyone appreciated the food you cooked.

It was most enjoyable. I am sure most of my friends will agree that both recipes were absolutely scrumptious. In fact, I loved it that much that when I got home I cooked a stir-fry for tea.

The day was different from a normal school day, and just after SATS, it was quite a treat. I will definitely be dining in a Thai restaurant in the near future, and I will definitely cook more thai food at home. (I think my mum likes the break from cooking anyway.)

Please stay in touch. I really hope you can come again if you have some spare time as you will be welcome.

Jade Turner (Y6E) (Jade is now 16 years old and still speaks to a friend of a friend the day Tukata cooked at her school)

When you came the other day, every one enjoyed your food. I've never tried Thai food before, in my life so it was a good experience for both you and me. You have a really good sense of humour, as you may already know, as you made us all laugh quite a lot. Year six children at Malcolm sergeant Primary School all hope you will successfully continue making food and sauces. Thank you and please come back
